Daniel Campbell
PRESIDENT
Daniel Campbell is a commercial real estate developer and investor with more than 20 years of experience delivering mixed-use and retail projects throughout Central Texas and other high-growth markets. As President of Marathon Equity, Daniel leads the firm’s investment strategy, development pipeline, and capital relationships, focusing on creating durable, community-focused real estate with strong long-term fundamentals. Daniel has led or overseen the development and acquisition of more than 2.5 million square feet of commercial real estate and has directed the deployment of over $200 million in equity capital. His projects have consistently achieved strong lease-up performance, institutional quality tenant rosters, and successful investment exits.

Will Wiess
Development Associate
Will Wiess is a Development Associate at Marathon Equity, where he manages the day-to-day development process for active ground up retail investments. His responsibilities include underwriting development opportunities, coordinating due diligence, overseeing consultants and municipal processes, and supporting execution through project delivery.

Will began his career in Chicago with PGIM Real Estate, one of the world’s largest real estate investment managers. At PGIM, he underwrote over $400 million of multifamily and manufactured housing community loans across diverse U.S. markets, developing a strong foundation in institutional underwriting, capital markets, and transaction execution with an emphasis on downside protection and credit discipline.

Following PGIM, Will joined Long View Equity as a Development Associate, where he focused on the execution of more than 300,000 square feet of retail development.

Will’s background combines institutional underwriting rigor with hands-on development execution. He focuses on ground up development opportunities where disciplined underwriting, thoughtful design, and strong market fundamentals drive attractive risk-adjusted returns.
